Have you thought about opening up your own bidding directory, or adding a bidding directory to your directory portfolio? If this is the case, then you are certainly looking at various scripts to run a bid directory. And you are getting advice or help from at least a few people about which script to go with. So let me help you out in making your decision, as surely you want your bidding directory to be easy to maintain, easy for your submitters, easy for your visitors and importantly you want your bidding directory to be successful.

I run two of my bidding directories using the phpLinkBid Directory Script. So let me tell you the excellent points of this script and why it powers two of my bid directories. Start by saying this script was simple and quick to upload and set up. And this comes from someone who agonizes over making sure I have done the job right! And then it was finding a theme I liked enough to put on my bidding directories. And that was a simple job as phpLinkBid has plenty of great looking themes available for free (or paid if you want a unique theme) on their site. Again, the themes I selected were easy to download from their site and extremely easy to upload to my directories. Everything I must say, the script and the themes, worked right off the bat.

The phpLinkBid Directory Script is feature packed, with very few mods needed. The few mods I have seen, are an excellent add-on and they do cost extra. Yes, the script is not a free script, it will cost $29.95, but that is a minor cost for making sure you have a script that will do the job it must do to keep your bidding directory up and running. And the phpLinkBid team are always updating the script as script owner feedback is sent to them via their forum you will find on the site. And updating is simple, as I have found out. This is one script that you can purchase today and know that in the future, there is super support and that you will get the upgrades free. Mentioned the forum, again this is the best place to go to for any questions, help and to get additional information. Both the phpLinkBid team and the forum members are quick to help anyone to insure that there are no problems with any bidding directory using this script.

I apologise for not going into the look of the site, how to navigate and so forth. It is just that I want to emphasize that it is the script you want and not the script website. Plus when you go to the phpLinkBid Directory Script site, you will find any and all information you need about the script, the themes, and the forums.

I do recommend to anyone wanting to start or add a bid directory to use this script. It has powered one of my directories for almost 2 years with no problems. And one feature I love about this script, and it has increased my income, is that you can set a minimum bid (default is $5.00) for submitters to submit up to 5 (five) deep link urls and titles. Please, do check out their site and please do purchase their script for your bid directory.
