New Look for the Directory Blogger

After having the same blog theme for the directory blogger for ages, and having some good feedback about the dark, moody look, I spent today looking for a new theme. It had to be bright and cheery but without a huge graphic at top or throughout the theme. I forget the number of themes I downloaded, unzipped, and loaded up to directory blogger to try out, but it was around a dozen. This theme won out after some time of looking at each theme and how it looked. With this new theme, it now will bring the Directory Blogger into 2009! I hope you like it as much as I do.

New Feature for the Directory Blogger

The Directory Blogger now has it’s own built-in directory! It is a nice basic directory and as you will notice each page of the new directory is just like a blog page. You will now see at the top of the page a link after the Contact Page entitled “Directory Blogger Directory”. Click on that link and it will take you to the main page of the new directory. Only top categories are shown as there are no sub-categories in this directory. Plus you will see a link to submit your directory to the Directory Blogger Directory. Plus on the right hand side, in the sidebar, is a submission form also.

Now you can submit your directory (must be a directory!) to the proper directory category for FREE! But not just any directory will be accepted! First your directory must have a google page rank of one (1) or better. If not, it will not be accepted into the Directory Blogger Directory. Second you must submit to the proper category. That’s it! Of course, I would very much appreciate it if you would link back to either the Directory Blogger Directory or to the main page of my blog. And also it is very much appreciated if you would let others know of the new directory.

Now here is a directory I like a lot! You do have to register and become a member, but it is free and once you are a member, you can list your website and start exchanging links in minutes. The directory link and article exchange services are all free and they say it is incredibly effective. The main page is not cluttered, though it seems like it, with all the recently featured websites, articles and more. Well worth reading the main page to get a nice feel of what you will be getting into when you sign up as a free member.

I joined, and I must say, after I activated my account, I found my site right in the proper category and sub-category. It is free to submit your website, or websites, and the same with articles. Easy to navigate around this site. I did find out that to get onto the main page as a featured site, etc will cost extra, on a monthly basis. Now the link exchange seems pretty straight forward, you just browse the directory and when you find a site you want to exchange links with, just tick off the box and wait for that website to approve. But from what I gather, you have to pay for this privilege. This directory is so loaded down with options, that it is hard to figure out what is what and why should I pay. For starting off saying it is free, then once you register, the whammy is the cost of being a member on this site.

Anyways, this is a nice looking directory with a good plan to help webmasters. You should go by and register free, and work from there. It may be a super way for you to get exposure and some link exchanges. The directory is called Professional Link Building, the Free Link Exchange Directory.

I have 5 (five) directories. And I always want new submissions to each one. None are free, as I leave free directories to others who have the time to review all those submissions plus dealing with the spam. Instead of free, I have at many times various offers for submitting to one or another of my directories. Each of my offers are such that your money buys more than if bought separately.

First one is one I blogged about 2 days ago. Purchase a featured listing for your directory and you will get a FREE review of your directory right here on this blog! This is a pr3 blog and the price of a review now is less than the price of a featured ad. So you are really getting a two for one for your money: a featured listing of your directory on my directory plus a review here. See this here: http://directoryblogger.com/dawg-links-is-back/

Here is another where you bid your site onto my Mad Plug General Bidding Directory at $5.00 or more and you will get a review of your site on my Best Websites blog!

If you got to Mad Plug, you will see right now the top bidded site at $10, then go to the blog and you will see the review of that site I did. Now surely you want your site not only in my bid directory, but a great review written by me on my blog?

This one is for everyone. Everyone who wants to bid to the top of my oldest bid directory and wants advertising for the rest of 2008. It is simple, you beat the current high bidder of $51.00 on my Bidding Web Directory. So everyone who bids $52.00 or more on this directory will get advertising for the rest of 2008 from me.

Here is the advertising you will get on that one above: Anchor text and url shown in the sidebar of my 7 blogs! Plus a review written of your site on Best Websites if not a directory, or a review of your directory right here on this blog.

I want to thank you in advance of your purchase on one or more of my directories!
