New Look for the Directory Blogger

After having the same blog theme for the directory blogger for ages, and having some good feedback about the dark, moody look, I spent today looking for a new theme. It had to be bright and cheery but without a huge graphic at top or throughout the theme. I forget the number of themes I downloaded, unzipped, and loaded up to directory blogger to try out, but it was around a dozen. This theme won out after some time of looking at each theme and how it looked. With this new theme, it now will bring the Directory Blogger into 2009! I hope you like it as much as I do.

New Feature for the Directory Blogger

The Directory Blogger now has it’s own built-in directory! It is a nice basic directory and as you will notice each page of the new directory is just like a blog page. You will now see at the top of the page a link after the Contact Page entitled “Directory Blogger Directory”. Click on that link and it will take you to the main page of the new directory. Only top categories are shown as there are no sub-categories in this directory. Plus you will see a link to submit your directory to the Directory Blogger Directory. Plus on the right hand side, in the sidebar, is a submission form also.

Now you can submit your directory (must be a directory!) to the proper directory category for FREE! But not just any directory will be accepted! First your directory must have a google page rank of one (1) or better. If not, it will not be accepted into the Directory Blogger Directory. Second you must submit to the proper category. That’s it! Of course, I would very much appreciate it if you would link back to either the Directory Blogger Directory or to the main page of my blog. And also it is very much appreciated if you would let others know of the new directory.
