We launched a General Free Directory last week and have been modding PHPLD to make it unique.
Among the first thing that we did was to change captcha to a math question, this has resulted into reduced spam. We also installed some SPAM removal mods including this one.
Among other things, we are writing category meta descriptions to make every page unique and invite submissions for your quality websites.
