Do you have a forum? Want a nice directory to submit your forum to? And do not want to pay anything? Then you need to stop by the Web Pal Forums directory soon! You will find that there are only categories of forums with no sub-categories. Great not just for you to submit your forum, but super for visitors to the directory as they do not need to drill down in an category.
Submit your forum soon, while it is still free. Free listings are on the directory for only one year though, so you may want to think about upgrading to a featured listing as those are on the directory permanently. Plus a featured listing is shown above all free listings, giving your forum better exposure. Whether you select the free listing or the featured listing this directory will give you a nice backlink to your forum. Thus helping your SERPs.
Web Pal Forums is a human edited directory, where each submitted forum is checked to first make sure it is a forum, and if it is not an adult, warez or other illegal type forum. This way, only quality forums will be accepted as these submission standards are strict. So any forums that are new, have few members and posts, may not make the grade and be accepted by this forum directory.
You will notice on this new forum, only one banner at top of every page. Plus the left sidebar is not loaded down with advertising. What you see there now is all there will be in the future. And I will not be selling any of these spots for at least 3 months. This way, the directory will have time to grow, avoid google if I am not selling advertising on the site, and hopefully get some good page rank.
Plans for Web Pal Forums are to keep the submissions free at least until January 1st, 2009. And to keep the featured listings at the low affordable price of $2.99. At that time or shortly after, I will look carefully at what regular listings will be priced at and a new price for featured listings. Thus this is the time to submit your forum to the directory.
