The icons for navigation are whimsical, but not cartoonish, with the same being said for the category icons. Yes, the navigation is simple with all the icons at the top right of each page and those icons are named.
The Lobo Links directory also has a blog. One feature not found on many directories. The blog is mostly about directories, with plenty of the directory owners own writings on many other subjects. Definitely worth going to the directory soon and reading his blog. The latest 5 blog postings are on the directory, along with the latest 5 featured listings and 5 most popular listings.
