Commenting on dofollow blogs is a legitimate and successfully proven way of getting backlinks for a website. Some webmasters are generous enough to reward their commentators with dofollow backlinks but it’s not easy to find these blogs.
You can now download a free copy of fast blog finder and find all the blogs but the free version will only search in 50 blogs for a given keyword. But I won’t stop here, I have been compiling a list of dofollow search engines, directories and lists that will make your life easy.
- DirectoryBlogger Dofollow Search – My free do follow search engine is updated weekly and cleans up nofollow blogs regularly.
- W3ec dofollow site search engine – A simple blog search with nearly 1000 blogs, it’s very easy to add your blog to this search engine.
- InlineSEO’s Dofollow Diver – One of the best resources for finding dofollow blogs, they also list commentluv and top commentator blogs.
- http://dofollowsearchengine.com/ – Probably the only paid search engine that I know, they went paid recently.
- CommentHunt – They are an old player and also provide commenting service but I was not impressed with their collection of dofollow blogs.
- Radpixels Search – Most search engines I know are based on google custom search but they use blog RSS and crawl the blog posts themselves. That makes them unique.
- EzbusinessNeeds – Another search engine that I liked. Their set of blogs are quite different from others.
- BestRealIncome – No nonsense UI, only a search box and button, this one also has a decent collection of do follow websites.
- BackLinkMagic – Blog search as well as a dofollow forum list.
- http://finddofollowblogs.blogspot.com/ – Haven’t used this one much but I did see familiar blogs from some searches.
- RishabhSood’s search – He has a list of 1200+ dofollow blogs and a search engine.
- Atniz Search Engine – This is another one that acts rather quickly whenever a blog is added or reported.
- TheyFollow – Around 2000 blogs and websites that follow.
- CreativeCaravan – Creative Caravan SEO Tools has a good dofollow search engine.
- PageRush – PageRush has another good list of blogs as well as a search engine if you are keen on finding blogs with keywords.
- Matt Inertia’s volunteer search engine – More than 500 blogs in this one.
- CyberNautSEO’s french blog search – I really like the efforts they have put in to find french dofollow blogs.
- WMTips – has a search engines that finds blogs that follow.
- Digerati – They included blogs and forums and made the search engine more or less useless for me.
- Hippo
- BlogTag – A good directory and search engine.
- http://www.followtopia.com/ – A good domain name there.
- Comment Link Building
- TheForumSite Search – Around 350 blogs
- KeywordLuv Search Engine – Some people believe what’s the point in commenting on dofollow blogs if you can’t use anchor text. KeywordLuv plug-in allows commentators to use keywords in comments. This is the only KeywordLuv search engine that I know right now.
- WebSack – Another dofollow search engine that let’s you add your blog rather quickly.
- MyBlogFollows – Another believer of dofollow movement, they also have a directory.
- Jerry’s search engine
- http://followlist.com/ – Comprehensive directory as well as search engine.
- SEOPositions – Found this one recently and have to still try this one out.
- DuoBlogger – Another one that I missed the first time.
- Dofollow Websites – Uncluttered search results. I am starting to like this one as well.
- Another Search Engine
- Another keywordluv search engine – When I first made this list I knew about only one such search engine, but voila someone else also saw the usefulness and came up with this new keywordluv search engine (need not be dofollow), it claims to have 1182 blogs (and increasing everyday).
- commentluv search engine – Another search engine from nickopedia.
- free dofollow engine
- KeywordLuv Search Engine – People are waking up to keywordluv. Yet another cool search engine from MrBlackSEO.
- CommentLuv Search Engine – MrBlackSEO’s team has yet another search engine. I wish both MrBlack and nickopedia had looked at google cse closer and implemented something similar to what inlineseo has done with their dofollow diver.
- Super Radical Dofollow Blog Finder – Around 800 blogs in this one.
- Dofollow Finder – Another dofollow finding site. A lot of non-english blogs in this search engine. Some of them look ‘German’.
- TechTip master’s dofollow engine – Another search engine with lots of great blogs included.
I will be posting a list of dofollow blog lists and directories soon. Here is a small list.
- http://courtneytuttle.com/blogs-that-follow/ – Original D list.
- http://www.mfinch.ca/blog/top-commentator-list – Top Commentator List
- Web-Directories – Directories, lists and search engines
- Fast Blog Finder
If you own a dofollow blog, feel free to submit it to DirectoryBlogger’s dofollow blog search engine (and to others). I am sure it will send a lot of traffic your way.
If you know about any good dofollow blog search engines or resources feel free to suggest them in comments and I will be glad to add them to this list.
Update: 17 May 2009: Added 3 search engines from mrblackseo.
Update: 20 May 2009: Added a dofollow blog finder from The Super Radical
Update: 26 May 2009: Web-Directories.ws also published a list, included here. Also added dofollowfinder.
Update: 14 June 2009: TechTipMaster also added a new dofollow search engine.

Most of my blogs are commentluv and follow friendly cause that is just the way I roll. If I visit a dofollow blog and leave my link I also make sure to do a little sponsor ‘clicky’ luv as thanks to them for it.
Here are a few of my blogs that are dofollow, however I will admit I delete posts that are just shameless plugs or are off topic.
Enjoy

Great resource, thank you. I wanted to suggest a new do follow blog directory I started a couple of weeks ago. I charge for a regular link because of the time it takes to make sure they are “do follow” With that said, I would like to offer your readers a change to submit their do follow blogs for Free. Please put DB after your name so I know you came from directory blogger/ Here is the link:

Blog commenting is one of the easiest ways to get back links.Even if the blogger does not have “no follow” disabled I still comment because if you write a really good comment, people will still visit your site to see what else you have.
I have been using this list for “do follow” blogs:

Do u know that in the name of dofollow blogs most of the serch engines gives blogs with rel=”external nofollow” tag which itself is a nofollow and is the same as rel=”nofollow”.
If u want to check this view selection source in firefox(Ctrl+U) and find(Ctrl+F) “nofollow”.
July 4th, 2009 at 9:26 pm
The easier way to check whether a blog is nofollow or dofollow with Firefox. Just click on the link with the right mouse button , and go to properties.
July 15th, 2009 at 5:09 am
How long before your list is out of date ?
I have tried many lists in the past, and over half of them are currently nofollow.
July 15th, 2009 at 7:47 am
Well, all search engines and list become outdated almost everyday. For some the returns are good enough to keep working on the lists. Others loose interest. That’s why I keep adding new search engines to this list.
July 24th, 2009 at 6:01 am
Thanks for the list
I’ve only disabled nofollow yesterday and since my blog is new I haven’t enabled comments as yet (dead blogs just looks sad) but with dofollow enable I might just be able to flip the “comments on” switch
July 30th, 2009 at 1:57 am
Since Google’s change of stance regarding the ‘nofollow’ tag and SEO implications, there are lots more of dofollow blogs around.
Admin: Using deeplink.

Thanks for this information. I have been looking for Tech blog list which are do follow. But i see the ones which are do follow blogs, the comments section of it is no follow. why is that?

August 28th, 2009 at 3:06 am
Thanks a ton!!!!! Yeah it’s sometimes a pain finding them but in one article you’ve got everything, I really appreciate your efforts. Best of luck buddy! One should not spam them because if people spam them, they will turn to nofollow so it’s important to make legitimate comments as they take a couple of more minutes than a spammy one but helps many out there as well.
